I am sure many times you find yourself without much time to style your hair the way you really wanted, am I right? But what happens on the days that you literally have no time?. Let’s say you woke-up really late, or you got an invitation to a last-minute meeting that you were not expecting or even when the guy that you are interested in decides to show up for a surprise visit. This blog post is for this type of situations.

When you find yourself in a situation like that you must have a plan. You can’t start thinking of what you will do, you need to act fast and that is why we really recommend that you read this post on a day that you are not in a rush and you can even practice some of the styles below so you can be ready for when the day of desperation arrives.

There’s no such thing as one style fits all wigs, that is why we separated 5 different ways to style your wig when in a rush. 

How to style your wig in less than 5 minutes:

• 
  Long straight or wavy hair: How about having Gisele Bündchen hair in less than 5 minutes? That will be your goal for this look. Spray a little bit of water on the length of the hair (not so close to the roots) until you feel it is humid, but not wet or soaked. Then hold all the length of your hair as if you were going to make a low ponytail, Twist the hair many times until if starts twisting itself into a little bun. Tie it with a hair band or whatever you have to secure the bun in this position and leave it to dry while you rush to your appointment; When the hair is dry, release the bun and open up the curls with your fingers.  It will look stunning.

• 
  Short straight hair- Short straight hair is a little challenge for rushed days. It is very hard to tie them up if they are too short, so if you find yourself in a day that you just have to wear your lovely bob wig but have no time for blow dryers or flat irons, you will have to embrace the wavy look and create the most amazing beach weaves. All yo have to do is to spray lots of water. Don’t be afraid, make it wet Then apply a good amount of mousse on your hand and start scrunching it on your bob wig. It will be better to do it by sessions (sides, back and top). It will be even easier if you are not wearing the wig and you can turn the hair upside down while scrunching it. If you wig has a thinker hair, you might want to add another layer of mousse before moving to the next part. After the mousse, comes the spray. Get your strong hold spray and repeated the same process you used with the mousse. After you are done, let it air dry and voilà! You will have the most beautiful beach waves that will look natural, neat and last the entire day. The great part of this hair style is that you literally do it on the go. If you don’t have any more time left, put the wig on and continue to scrunch on your way to your appointment. 

• 
  Curly hair– If curly hair is your preferred texture, you should always have mousse available at your house. Make the hair wet by spraying a good amount of water. Now it is time to apply the mousse while you crunch the hair with your hands. Make sure you cover all the extension of the hair. On the top part, you can also apply some mousse and use a comb to make the hair look flat and sleek. Leave it to air dry. This is the fastest way to have a wet look with defined curls. Avoid using this technique every day because the hair will look greasy and you will have to increase the washing frequency, which will reduce the lifespan of your wig.

• Lace wigs– Depending on the size of the lace on your wig, it might be a problem to get it perfectly in place in less than 5 minutes. Our recommendation for you is when there is simply no time to glue it or try to camouflage the lace, just add a gorgeous headband, a cool cap or tie a glamorous scarf covering the lace part. All of that will add lots of style to your look and you will be ready to go in no time.

• Fringes – fringes are the easiest. If you are constantly running out of time, do yourself a favor and get a fringe wig or just a fringe extension for yourself. Your life is about to change. Fringes are the easiest to style. You just need to spray some water and blow-dry it. Then all you have to do is tie a low ponytail or a bun with the length of the hair and you are good to go. If you have a bang clip-in extension, you can transform any wig in a fringe wig, which will make your life even better. All you need to do is to clip in the fringe on the top of your wig and you are ready.
